Winter Showdown Points Championship
Official Scoring Rules

The Winter Showdown seasonal points race will run alongside our normal Friday and Saturday race program for the duration of February and half of March, concluding March 14th 2026.

No signup required as simply showing up automatically enters you into the championship standings for your class.

The championship rewards strong finishes, exceptional driving, and fastest lap performance over the following classes:

  • Stock

  • Super Stock

  • Evo

  • Pan Car

Each class earns and maintains its own independent points standings over the course of the championship accumulating points from January 31, 2026 through March 14, 2026.

Only your top 6 finishes will count towards the final showdown.

Any driver who competes in a Winter Showdown race night is automatically included in the championship standings for that class.

Each race night produces a single “Night Score” for every driver in each individual class, with points calculated based on finishing position, fastest lap, and consistency..

Placement points are awarded based on the final finishing position in the main event for that class.

The placement points scale is: 1st place: 100 points, 2nd place: 95 points, 3rd place: 90 points, 4th place: 85, 5th place: 80, 6th place: 75, 7th place: 70, 8th place: 65, 9th place: 60, 10th place: 55 and continues downward by five points per finishing position with a minimum award of five points. with DNFs awarding zero points.

Fastest lap points are recorded based on each individual main event, with the top three awarded 15 points, 10 points, and 5 points respectively regardless of finishing position.

Consistency points are awarded to the top three drivers who maintain tight and repeatable lap times throughout the race, calculated using the LiveRC Consistency percentage shown in the race results. Drivers are ranked by consistency within each main event with bonus points awarded for the highest, as well as second and third highest consistency at 15, 10, and 5 points respectively.

Only drivers within the same main event are compared for consistency ranking.

Championship Determination

At the conclusion of the Winter Showdown points series, each driver's best six scoring nights will be totaled. These standings determine the starting order and grid placement for the Winter Showdown Championship race hosted on March 20th, 2026.

Drivers with the highest points totals will start in their respective starting positions ranked in order for the championship event.

Tie breakers go to the drivers with the highest total fastest lap bonus points, then if still tied, highest total consistency bonus points.

Drivers finishing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each class during the championship race will be crowned Winter Showdown Champion, Second Place, and Third Place for that class.
